Structural & Code Consultation Service
Structural & Code Consultation Service
Gain clarity on your structural concerns and code requirements before committing to costly engineering or construction decisions.
This service is a professional on-site consultation designed to help you understand what’s actually happening in your structure, what the building code may require, and what your smartest next steps are.
What’s Included
On-Site Structural Walkthrough
A detailed visual assessment of the existing structure to identify observable issues, load concerns, and potential problem areas.
Code & Compliance Direction
High-level guidance on applicable building code considerations and how they may impact your project scope, permitting, or repair approach.
Structural Insight & Strategy
Clear, experience-based recommendations on potential repair paths, modification options, and whether formal engineering or additional services are required.
Next-Step Planning
A defined roadmap outlining how to proceed — whether that involves engineering, design development, contractor coordination, or permit submission.
What This Service Is Not
To ensure clarity, this service does not include:
Structural engineering calculations
Stamped or sealed drawings
Construction documents or repair details
Permit-ready plans
If those are required, they can be coordinated as a separate service after the consultation.
Who This Is For
Homeowners dealing with structural damage or uncertainty
Projects involving load-bearing walls, beams, or framing concerns
Insurance-related structural claims requiring direction
Anyone who wants to avoid guessing, overpaying, or making the wrong structural decision
Important Note
This consultation may involve coordination with a Structural Engineer licensed in the State of Michigan, if appropriate. However, this service itself is advisory in nature and intended to define scope — not replace formal engineering.
Why This Matters
Most structural problems are misdiagnosed at the beginning, leading to unnecessary cost, improper fixes, or delays.
This consultation ensures you understand:
What’s actually wrong
What level of intervention is required
And how to move forward with confidence
Next Step
Book your Structural & Code Consultation to eliminate uncertainty and protect your project before you build.
